We hope you are staying safe and healthy. The safety of our cancer survivors, staff, volunteers, and participants is always our top priority. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event. Although we will not be gathering in person, the American Cancer Society still needs your support!
The Gala4ACure committee is determined to continue to raise funds for Hope Lodge, a place for cancer patients and their caregiver to stay free of charge while receiving treatment nearby. Because of COVID, Hope Lodge has been forced to close it’s doors to patients but we haven’t let this time go to waste. The Philadelphia Hope Lodge has renovated the bathrooms in all 34 guest rooms and has begun work to upgrade the kitchen to a first class cooking space. As in many homes, the kitchen at the Philadelphia Hope Lodge is the heart of the place where patients and volunteers gather as strangers but leave as family.
We are eagerly looking forward to the day we can reopen our doors at Hope Lodge and we are so grateful for your annual donations during our mission moment supporting Hope Lodge. We hope that you will consider making the donation you had intended to make at the event via the link below to support the Hope Lodge of Philadelphia.

We hope to see you in 2022!
For more than 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
